Why Do I Use the Lower Case for jesus?

First of all, it's not that I will only use the lower case, but that I am not careful to capitalize the first letter of that name. So from time to time you may find it written with an upper case first letter. But I will not be at all particular about, and so most often you will find it written with a lower case letter "j."

Why?

Jewish Law forbids affording any respect to false gods. It's as simple as that.

Yes, I know that the rules of English say that a proper name should be capitalized, but Jewish Law is much more important to me than any other law. And Jewish Law says it is forbidden to show honor to a false god.

Is jesus a false god? Yes. He is worshiped by many people as G-d, and the Torah says that only Hashem is G-d. All other gods are false.

It doesn't matter if Christians feel that he is the real G-d. Christians are wrong. Jewish Law says that jesus is not G-d. Therefore, by Jewish Law, I cannot give respect to jesus.

Hindus believe that their gods are real. That doesn't change Jewish Law.

Christians believe their god is the same as the Jewish G-d. Well, they're wrong. Their beliefs cannot change Jewish Law.

That's why I do not bother to capitalize the name jesus.
